IF IT’S GOOD FOR YOU, IT’S GOOD FOR YOUR BUSINESS
If you own your own business and care about it (and you should care about it deeply,) then you may not have a great deal of time to be out and about performing social activities. Sometimes however, you can actually use your business to propel your social interaction to a new height! Most businesses have one thing in common. They require promotion. Needless to say, you are going to need business cards. Depending on where you live, there are usually events going on where you can meet lots of people and talk up your business. At any particular event, your kind of business may or may not be of specific interest to the attendees, but you can always introduce yourself and that includes to women. They might be there representing their business or they may be looking for a successful businessman such as yourself.
THE INTERNET IS YOUR FRIEND
Either way, it’s good for your business. If you’re not ready to jump into the old fashioned way yet, perhaps you should experiment with social media. Social media skills for businessmen are as important as ever, particularly if the goods or services you offer with your company lean towards a younger demographic. Some businesses are even skipping the creation of their own website in lieu of creating a Facebook business page. You can certainly “like” many people and they just might “like” you back. Where might that lead? You won’t know if you don’t try. Have you ever used traditional advertising to promote your business? Do women use your product or service? If so then you owe it to yourself and your company to perform some market research. Go where they go, watch what they do. Keep an eye out for various other advertisers and what they do in that market space. Who knows, you just might run into some interesting company along the way!
SUPPORTING YOUR COMPANY AND DATING SIMULTANEOUSLY!
Let’s say you have a potential lady friend that you don’t get to see as often as you might like. How about taking them to a trade show in your industry? You get to spend time with her and time interacting with important business matters as well. If your trade show is out of town, be sure to reserve some time to take in other sights and maybe some fine dining. You wouldn’t want your significant other to think you’re all business, would you? Sometimes, you can let her know that you’re trying real hard to make the business the best it can be. You could even ask her what she thinks! It might be possible that she can bring some fresh ideas to the table.
TURNING YOUR DATE INTO YOUR BUSINESS PARTNER
When you make her feel like more of a partner in your efforts, she will be more comfortable with your devotion to the business and when that happens, she will grow more of a vested interest in your success! Social activities can take many forms and being able to integrate them into your business is a great way to get things done, have fun and create tax deductions all along the way!
